We follow a body flown back to China, from a container found in a British port with 58 dead inside. Li Zhenquan was No. 56. His family paid the Snakeheads $20,000 to send the 25 year old to UK to get a job, but he never made it. Back in their village, Li’s wife and mother bury him and mourn, but also battle to get their money back from the Snakeheads. So many of Fujian’s successful families owe their fortune to a migrant son. It is only a question of time when tragedy will strike again.
